Choose to travel in your preferred seats

Every time you Check-in online you can choose your preferred seat if you pay an additional fee. Disembark quicker by choosing Forward + seats or travel in more comfort with a Space + seat.

  • Subject to availability at the time of request.
  • You can acquire this service during the ticket purchasing process on or at any time through our Contact Center or at a LATAM sales office. When checking in at or at a LATAM sales office at an airport, from 48 hours up to 2 hours before flight departure.
  • This service is only available for flights operated by LATAM Airlines. It is not available on flights operated by oneworld alliance airlines, a codeshare flight or flight that is operated by another airline. 
  • Service only available in Economy class.
  • The first four rows on national flights have the same amount of space available between the seats as all other seats on the aircraft.
  • On International routes the only rows that are guaranteed to have more legroom are the Space+ seats.
  • The choice of seat and the price paid is per route and route segment.
  • They can be requested at the time of checking in online, from 48 hours up to 2 hours before the flight departure time.
  • Not available for reservations of more than 9 passengers.
  • Black, Black Signature and Emerald members and passengers with fares for higher rate groups (Full Flexible) have the option to reserve seats free of charge in the front rows that are assigned according to their category, and always provided that they are available at the time.
  • The seats are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-endorsable to any other persons.
  • The seats cannot be changed once they have been purchased.
  • If for operational reasons, security or service don't take the seat we can deliver you selected, we will be happy to offer another alternative to seat as possible. In the case that you don't like this, you shall relocate in another seat and LATAM Airlines would begin a process to refund your money in the same way that you paid. If in 10 days we have not contacted you, please call our Contact Center at 600 526 2000.
  • Refund requests will not be processed at our Sales Offices or onboard.
