Points on LATAM Airlines flights

If you’re a LATAM Pass member, you can also review how to earn LATAM Pass KMS.

How to calculate your Multiplus points for flights purchased on LATAM Airlines starting April 22, 2017:

It’s now much easier to calculate your Multiplus points, because each member category will have a unique multiplier for earning. You'll always use the same multiplier wherever you travel. All you'll have to do is use this amount, multiply it by each dollar you spent on your airline ticket and you'll get the Multiplus points you’ve earned. This way we can reward you when you spend more. In addition, the higher your member category, the higher your multiplier.

*This amount does not include fees, taxes or payments for extra services.

The additional bonus you'll receive for belonging to an Elite member category is already included in this multiplier, making it easier for you to calculate the Multiplus points you’ve earned.

Remember:

  • To calculate your Multiplus points on flights marketed by LATAM, we only consider the ticket price. The boarding fees or any other additional expenses such as excess baggage, SPACE+ seats, tour packages or travel insurance, among other things, will not be taken into account for calculating points under this new points-earning model.
  • For tickets purchased in a currency other than the dollar, the exchange rate we will use is the IATA Exchange Rate, which is updated every day from Monday to Friday.
  • The maximum amount you can earn is 60,000 points per segment.
  • Remember to enter your LATAM Fidelidade member number when making your purchase. That way, your Multiplus points will be added to your account within a maximum of 7 days after the flight. If you still don’t see the kms in your account, you can request them here.
  • This information applies to members of the program residing in New Zealand.
