LATAM informs about the possible effect on flights due to national strike in Argentina on 6 April

LATAM Airlines informs that due to an announced national strike in Argentina on 6 April 2017 there may be delays and/or cancellations on domestic and international flights operating to and from Argentina, in the event it is confirmed.

Passengers who wish to reschedule their flights to or from Argentina in advance, can do so via the ‘Reschedule your flight’ page of or via LATAM’s Contact Center.

Passengers who have connecting flights with third-party airlines are reminded that they should check their flight status directly with the respective carrier in advance.  

LATAM apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this situation and is offering affected passengers the ability to modify travel itineraries originally planned for this day.

Changes and refunds

Passengers with flights to/from Argentina that may be affected by cancellations and/or rescheduling on 6 April can choose from the following options:

  • Date/flight change (same origin/destination): All passengers that would like to change their date/flight (both outbound and return) without penalty or fares differences can do so from seven days in advance until 15 days after the original date (except 12-17 April inclusive). Beyond 15 days, changes without penalties are subject to the applicable fare differences.

  • Route change: A route change with no penalty, subject to differences in the applicable fare.

  • Refunds: Refunds apply for all unused tickets without penalty.
