The LATAM Pass KMS that you earn from your trips with LATAM Airlines expire if you do not use them within 3 years. Kilometers accumulated from flights with onewold or other airlines and business partners may have a different period of validity.

When do kilometers accumulated from flights with LATAM Airlines expire?

LATAM Pass KMS accumulated from our flights have a validity period of 36 months from the date of your last flight and expire on the last day of the 36th month.

If you fly with us again and accumulate LATAM Pass KMS during this 36 month lapse of time, all of your accumulated KMS will renew their validity for another 36 months.

What is the validity period for the other accumulated kilometers?

LATAM Pass KMS accumulated from flights with oneworld or other partner airlines and accumulated with one of our partner airline companies or from purchasing any LATAM Airlines products or services, will have a validity period of 3 calendar years, expiring on December 31 of the third year in which they were accumulated.

During this time, if you fly with LATAM Airlines and accumulate 1 or more kilometers from this flight, all of your LATAM Pass KMS renew their validity for another 36 months. In other words, they take on the same validity period as the kilometers earned with our flights.

If your LATAM Pass KMS are about to expire you can issue a fare, which will be valid for 12 months. If you are not sure when you will be traveling, you can always change the date of your fare at one of our sales offices or through our Contact Center.
