Will you need a bassinet for your infant?
When traveling in the economy cabin you can take your infant in a comfortable and safe bassinet. You may request this service if your infant weights no more than 10 kilos and is under 71 cm.
Bear in mind that we have one bassinet available on each of our Airbus 330 and Boeing 767 and
- We will keep a seat in the front rows of the aircraft for you, your infant and a companion traveling with you under the same reservation.
- If you travel with other passengers we will assign the seats in accordance with availability and the conditions of the fare paid.
How much does this bassinet service cost?
- Between South America and North America, Europe, the Caribbean or Oceania, including Santiago - Papeete: US$ 140
- Within South America and routes between New York - Toronto, Madrid - Frankfurt, Santiago de Chile - Easter Island, Punta Cana - Miami and Auckland - Sydney: US$ 45
This service is charged per leg and must be requested 48 hours ahead of time. Sales taxes will be added to these fees in countries where they apply. Members of Black and Black Signature categories for LATAM Pass and LATAM Fidelidade are exempt from the charge.
In order to determine where you will need to pay for this service, please check beforehand which is the operator of your flight.
If your flight is operated by LATAM Airlines Group, LATAM Airlines Chile, LATAM Airlines Argentina, LATAM Airlines Perú, LATAM Airlines Colombia or LATAM Airlines Ecuador and your flight number has the code LA or XL, you must pay the fee directly in our Sales Office or at the airport. You can also arrange the payment through our Contact Center if your flight is operated by LATAM Airlines Brasil or LATAM Airlines Paraguay.
