Among the benefits that passengers of both LAN and TAM will enjoy are better connectivity, more destinations, better and more frequent itineraries, and shorter connection times.
LAN and TAM Benefits
The merger between LAN and TAM will allow us to offer better itineraries and flights to more destinations than any other airline group in the region. Before finalizing the merger, LAN flew to 100 destinations and TAM to 61; now, both airlines will reach around 150 destinations in 22 countries, transporting around 60 million passengers per year.
Additionally, members of the LANPASS and TAM Frequent Flyers Programs can accumulate and trade in their kilometers/points in the most complete flight network of LAN and TAM.
At the same time, members of the elite categories of both airlines can combine their current benefits, access to preferential services for themselves and a companion, entrance into the VIP rooms of each airline, preferred check-in and boarding at the airport, and priority luggage.
