Pisco

Gateway to the Ballestas Islands and home to several sea mammals such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins and the Peruvian booby this port town is close to the Paracas National Reserve. With a mix of pre and post-colonial history, marine reserves, and city square make Pisco perfect for those to venture off the beaten track. Flying over the Nazca Lines from Pisco is an excellent option as well. These complex figures still hold an element of mystery and belong to UNESCO's World Heritage Sites. 

Iquitos

The largest metropolis in the Peruvian Amazon and considered the "capital of the Amazon" Its metropolis is reached by river or by air. Once you've touched the ground, you'll be amazed to find beautiful restaurants, bars, marketplaces and vendors weaved around its traditional huts and modern buildings. 

Trujillo

Known as the City of Eternal Spring Trujillo's colonial streets will transport you into back in time. Like most of Peru during the day you will be able to visit pre-Inca archeological sites, and at night you can enjoy its booming restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. While you are there, do not forget to enjoy the locally brewed corn beer.
