• You can request this service at any time via our Contact Center and LATAM Sales offices. You can also request it at the airport up to 48 hours before your flight departs, and at the latest 1 hour before departure.
  • Service available only for flights operated by LATAM. You cannot request it on flights operated by airlines of the oneworld alliance or flights operated by other airlines with codeshare.
  • This service is only available in the Economy cabin.
  • The only seats that are guaranteed to give you more legroom are Space+ seats.
  • Selecting your Preferred Seat is per flight, as well as the price indicated for payment.
  • This service is not available for reservations of more than 7 passengers.
  • Only passengers belonging to categories Black Signature (Emerald), Black (Emerald), Platinum (Sapphire) LATAM Pass, LATAM Loyalty and oneworld have the option of selecting their Preferred Seats at no extra cost, depending on their category and availability when making the request.
  • Passengers who purchased a ticket with Flexible and/or Top fare can select their Preferred Seats at no extra cost, subject to availability when making the request.
  • The seats are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-endorsable to any other persons.
  • No monetary refunds will be given for voluntary passenger changes.
  • You can change the seat you selected before the flight departure date. If you select a more expensive seat on this or another flight, you will have to pay the difference.
  • If for reasons relating to flight operations, safety or service we are not able to give you the seat that you selected, then we will offer you an alternative seat. If you do not agree, we will give you another seat and proceed to give you your money back via the same payment method you used. If you have not heard from us in 10 working days, please call our Contact Center.
  • The only way to check the status of your refund request is by calling our Contact Center.
