Continuing our dedication to provide international travelers with the highest quality of service, the Company is proud to announce that this year, two of its non-stop flights to Sao Paulo, Brazil will be operated in the most comfortable and technologically advanced aircraft in its fleet, the Airbus 350-XWB. The innovative airliners will begin their departures from New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport on September 30, 2017 and from Orlando’s International Airport, on November 15, 2017.

The change of aircraft on these routes of between 4,000 and 5,000 miles, maintains the fulfillment of LATAM Airlines’ vision for sustainability. The A-350’s design has successfully reduced the weight of the aircraft itself, allowing up to a 25% reduction in fuel requirements, maximizing operational efficiency and minimizing any impacts on the environment.

Onboard, feel free to explore the new LATAM interior design standards, visually inspired by the colors and textures of South America along with natural tones, to reflect a new balance between the region’s cultural passion and elegance. The richness of Amazonian wood is found in several elements of the aircraft's interior, and the flooring reflects the textures of fabrics and colors from the region’s landscape; including inspiration from the boardwalk of Ipanema in its layout. Panoramic windows throughout the cabin are 24% larger than a similar aircraft of the current generation, offering an excellent view of the outside world during your journey.

Many features of the A350-XWB also contribute to your comfort, offering the widest Business Class seats in the LATAM fleet, the quietest cabin among twin isle aircraft, and full LED lighting with 16.7 million different colors for a personalized ambience; all aimed at reducing jet lag effects. Also, rest assured that innovative technology is providing the best available air quality during the flight, with full circulation and renewal every 2 to 3 minutes.

LATAM continues to make every effort to provide you with an exceedingly comfortable flight experience, whether travelling for business or pleasure. We welcome you aboard one of the youngest and most modern fleets in the industry, so your dreams can reach their next destination with the care that you and our environment deserve.
