1. Termas Geométricas

Coñaripe, Chile

Installed in a section of Villarrica National Park, this complex has 60 hot springs that bubble up at approximately 176 °F [80 °C] and fill a total of 20 pools. Its iconic geometric walkway is entirely made of red wood, which makes it stand out in the middle of native vegetation. Here, the tip is to arrive early, as ticket prices increase throughout the day.

2. Termas de Cacheuta

Mendoza, Argentina

Just 23.5 miles from Mendoza, by the banks of the eponymous river, these hot springs have spectacular views of the Andes. The complex has a hotel, spa, and several hot spring pools, whose temperatures range from 95 °F to 122 °F, in addition to a water park. Each service has a different price, but children pay less, and it’s usually cheaper from Monday to Friday.

3. Parque Aquático Thermas dos Laranjais

Olímpia, Brazil

It’s a huge complex to visit with the whole family. Home to over 50 attractions, with a highlight to long water slides, wave pools, and jacuzzis, the park provides relaxation for adults and fun for kids. 4. Termas de Polques

Laguna Chalviri, Bolivia

In the Bolivian plateau, inside the Eduardo Avaroa Reserve, you’ll find this natural pool formed by the thermal waters that come from the Polques Volcano. Located in the village of Chalviri, at an altitude of 16,437 feet, this hot spring is a mandatory stop for anyone visiting the region.

5. Termales Santa Rosa de Cabal

Risaraldia, Colombia

This spectacular complex is installed in the middle of Colombian coffee plantations. It has a hotel and spa, with different price options, and its waters come from the volcanic chain of Los Nevados National Park in Risaraldia. Guests usually spend most of their time at the spa, which offers many options to relax and unwind.
