...and the elephant, the zebra, and the leopard: in Kruger National Park, the largest protected wildlife area in South Africa, the animals maintain their peaceful routine while tourists observe them up-close

Kruger National Park

Getting there

Kruger National Park is located some 310 miles [500 km] from Johannesburg, a LATAM destination in South Africa.

When to go

The park is open all year round and each season has its advantages: while the winter (between June and August) is dry, ideal to observe the wildlife, the summer (between December and February) is very hot, perfect to spot baby animals.

In total, the private reserves abutting Kruger National Park have an area of 150,000 hectares, offering several accommodation options, including Bush Baby Green, Ngala Safari Lodge, and Rowal Malewane.

LATAM has direct flights to Johannesburg from São Paulo.
