When to go

Havana is warm and inviting all year round. It rains less from November to March.

Private houses and small guesthouses are common in the city. In recent years, comfortable hotels, like the luxurious Saratoga, have sprouted up in Havana.

What to bring

Since Cuba is not inserted in the international financial system, you need to bring cash – only a handful of places accept debit or credit cards. It’s recommended to bring euros.

LATAM has direct flights to Havana departing from Lima.
