Five innovations that improved your travels in 2018
This year, we expanded the services available on latam.com so you can save time during your trip. On the website, now you can, for example, pay less for your extra luggage, comparing with prices at the airport, reserve a seat, and anticipate or postpone your flight: all this with just a few clicks. We also installed self-service kiosks in several airports for you to print luggage tags for checked baggage.
To facilitate the management of your travels, we unified our reservation systems in May. With it, we can provide you with a consistent experience in all the countries, which you can see while checking in online.
Selecting a seat, adding bags, checking the itinerary, and changing the ticket are some of the things that you can do through our tool My Trips, available on latam.com (and also in the mobile version, which can be accessed on your phone). Thanks to the dynamic integration of information on your flight, the priorities and available options are updated automatically, according to the time of your flight.
Access in four steps: go to latam.com, select “My trips” on the menu, insert your reservation code and last name, and click on “Find your trip”
In September, we inaugurated this new service that offers special seats in the first rows of Economy Class, increasing legroom by 4 inches [10 cm] and seat recline by up to 40%. We also provide an exclusive space for your carry-on luggage, priority boarding, and quicker disembarkment. Check the availability of this service on your next flight.
We know the best experiences depend on details. That’s why, in 2018, we invested US$ 400 million to progressively improve our cabins, including Premium Business Class. The waiting time is more pleasurable with our exclusive wine list, premium pillows and blankets, and a complete toiletry kit with L’Occitane products.
We are working hard to modernize two thirds of our fleet by 2020. Starting in 2019, you’ll be able to travel on our newly designed seats!
