The restaurant Hemisphere, on the top floor of the hotel Hyatt Regency Orlando, makes your dining experience at the airport more pleasant. The incredible view of the landing runway is harmonized with their excellent meat cuts, seafood and extensive selection of international wines.
You might feel like you are in a shopping mall instead of an airport. You can do some last minute shopping at the region’s main theme park souvenir shops. Passengers will find such brands as Lush, Swarovski, Oakley and Harley Davidson on the shopping center’s two floors.
Sometimes all we need is a massage, a manicure and a pedicure. Terminal Getaway Spa, an oasis in the middle of the airport – which received over 40 million passengers in 2015 –, is located in Terminal 2. In addition, there are Xpress Spa locations in the other three terminals.
Florida’s fauna and flora are the motif of several works of art on display at the airport. The highlights include the realistic sculpture The Traveler by Duane Hanson, located in Terminal A, and the impressive mosaic Florida Vacation by Victor Bokas, located in the Departures Area 2.
The airport has a free app, the Orlando MCO – available for iOS and Android users. Last minute information, music and map, among other features to help travelers. And wifi is free and unlimited.
