Morning at Centro Cultural SP

Rua Vergueiro, 1.000, Liberdade

Basking in the sun on the elevated garden at the CCSP is the right activity while you wait for the day’s events to start – theater performances, exhibits… If the day is sunny, lay down a blanket on the grass to catch some rays or have a picnic.

After lunch at Paribar

Praça Dom José Gaspar, 42, República

Pre-partying at Barouche

Largo do Arouche, 103, República

Barouche’s succinct drink menu is inviting. The small space gets really crowded, and customers end up occupying the sidewalk tables and parklet. “Bafo de Onça,” made with Aperol and cold mate tea, is one of the stars on the menu, which also features sandwiches.

Partying at Trackers

Rua Dom José de Barros, 337, República

Walking on Avenida São João, it takes 10 minutes to get from Barouche to Trackers. This nightclub, installed on an abandoned floor with walls covered in graffiti art in a corner building, is a symbol of the underground scene in São Paulo. With no fixed calendar, the parties are usually crowded and exciting. At some parties, entrance is strictly by guest list only.
