In addition to rap, one of the pillars of the hip-hop movement is graffiti art. It’s no coincidence that Derrick expresses his passion for amateur photography at Beco do Batman, an alley in São Paulo that has become an open-air museum for street art. "But the best shots are the result of a clear appearance: just develop it and any place will be a good place to photograph," he concludes.

Willie Willie: Alameda dos Pamaris, 30
El Carmen: 8.138 W 3rd Street
