Founded in 1719, Cuiabá is the capital of the State of Mato Grosso. Since its foundation, its economy was based on the production of sugarcane until the 70s and 80s when this activity stagnated, being the areas of services and infrastructure what allowed the city to resume its growth. From the '90s, tourism took strength and Cuiabá again began to develop and modernize. With an average temperature of 86° F, it has important natural resources such as the Cuiabá River and ample green areas, where parks and urbanized squares stand out; in addition to its gastronomy and architecture.
