Londrina has grown a lot. These days, it is the second most populous city in Paraná, after the capital, Curitiba, and an important economic center. It’s no coincidence that its state university attracts students from all over the country – and contributes to the city, for example, by administering Cine Teatro Ouro Verde. Residents have a great quality of life, enjoying walks by the banks of Lake Igapó or in several green areas scattered around the city, and a wide array of cultural activities in such places as the Museu de Arte de Londrina and Biblioteca Pública Municipal.
