Valdivia is the capital of the Region of Los Ríos. During the Spanish conquest it was a strategic occupation, so it is surrounded by forts that today are some of the main tourist attractions of the region. This city in southern Chile is also famous for its native forests, which stand out for their exuberant vegetation and fauna. It is also known for its promenades like coastal road by the Calle Calle river or the Feria Fluvial where it is possible to enjoy the landscape, the traditional gastronomy, handicrafts and the sea lions that live on the shore.
